Elopement at secret canyon in Iceland | Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon elopement

As a wedding photo& video duo, we’ve been lucky enough to have a chance to capture some truly unforgettable moments!  But this wedding day of L & B  stands out in our minds! It was is a hiking elopement in Iceland which began with a secret ceremony on a private black sand beach in the middle of Iceland and ended with a toast of local Icelandic liquor in a secret canyon.

The day started early, as the couple and we set out to explore some of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural scenery. We made our way to a secluded black sand beach, where the couple exchanged rings with the sound of the waves crashing behind them. It was a truly intimate and romantic moment, and we were thrilled to capture it on our cameras.

After the ceremony, we headed to Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon for more elopement photos, one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in Iceland. The couple was all smiles as we took wedding photos against the backdrop of icebergs floating serenely in the glacier lagoon. The blue-tinted ice formations were unlike anything I’d ever seen before, and the photos turned out stunning!

But the real adventure of the day was still to come! We set out on a hike to a secret canyon, which proved to be a challenge, but also an unforgettable experience. The rugged and untouched landscape provided a dramatic and breathtaking setting for photos, and the couple’s love for each other shone through in every shot. The view to the glacier, mountains around and waterfalls — everything around was breathtaking!

That was the perfect place to celebrate their love with a toast of local Icelandic liquor, a fitting end to a day filled with adventure, beauty, and love.
