Elopement at Kvernufoss waterfall

Linda and Ronaldo’s dream to get married in Iceland came true with an unforgettable wedding at Kvernufoss waterfall. Their day began in Vik, with views of the black sand beach setting the scene for a day full of love and adventure.

Their first look was picture-perfect in front red-roofed church in Vik, surrounded by the vibrant purples of lupines —making  stunning background for their wedding photos.

After a touching first dance with their parents, it was time to go to Kvernufoss waterfall for the main event. Promising each other forever against the roar of the waterfall, their wedding ceremony was nothing short of magical!

But what’s a wedding in Iceland without a little adventure? 

Linda and Ronaldo hiked behind the waterfall for some epic shots and then spent some time with the friendliest locals around — the plan was to have wedding photoshoot with Icelandic horses! Despite the rain, their spirits (and the horses) were high, adding a fun and quirky touch to their wedding day in Iceland.

The day wrapped up with a cozy celebration at a local brewery, where beer, burgers, and belly laughs were plenty.
